  I drive past every day but have so far only been in once. So far so good. Topside of beef was fantastic, well hung and cooked rare was on the money. Barnsley chops had a decent slab of fat on outside, which I personally like and roasted in oven with herb de Provence was delicious. Good meat selection, some nice local cheeses - Sussex Crumble was recommended and bought - and on a Sunday when I visited had Carlos. Savoy cabbage and cauliflower for sale, though not masses of veg. Had also run out of whole chickens which are clearly popular for Sunday roasts! I give 4 stars only because general provisions could be better stocked, but if using as butcher then 5 stars.
